This session with Arlene is one I had so much fun with!!
She came in for a bridal boudoir session, but it was definitely not your typical bridal vibe.
She brought two fur coats- one a classic gray, and the other a bright pink statement piece that I was immediately obsessed with. (Like, I NEED)
And normally, I keep sessions to only one studio…
but the second I saw that pink coat, I knew we had to switch things up a little.
So we broke the rules and ran over to the neon side for part of her shoot- and I’m so glad we did.
I love a classic white bridal set with a veil, but something about pairing a veil with a fur coat and a baby blue bodysuit? And THEN pairing a PINK FUR COAT with the neon lights??!
It felt fun, a little unexpected, FUNKY and completely her personality.
That’s always my favorite part- when someone takes the idea of boudoir and makes it their own. It ignites my soul on fire, I swear.
And of course, this is such a good gift for her fiancé (he’s definitely going to freak out over these photos), but it ended up being something for her, too.
After her session, she said:
“This was the BEST thing I ever did! Amazing experience. INCREDIBLE. Katie is phenomenal. I was looking to push my limits a bit and overcome personal issues, and when I arrived, all the angst left me. It was so fun. So amazing for my self-confidence. Medicine for my soul! Highly recommend! Thank you!”
Which honestly just makes me so happy to hear.
Because yes, the photos are an amazing gift- but the lasting impression of how you feel during and after matters just as much 🤍
