"My friend had done a shoot with Katie and I immediately started following her. I loved her work, her style and her vibe as a person - and the fact that she was in NJ was a huge bonus! When the opportunity to shoot with her came up, I jumped at it!"
What was your favorite part from your whole session?
"Getting to shoot in the studios I had seen so many pictures of and the genuine fun I had with Katie. She’s an amazing hype-woman and we laughed a lot!"
Were you nervous for your shoot? If so, when did the nerves go away?
"A little - but only because I had followed her for so long and I was finally in her studio. Kinda felt like meeting a celebrity lol but within 5 minutes of when we started shooting, I was totally at ease."
How did you feel after your session?
"Amazing! And dying to come back for a full session."
Would you recommend a boudoir session to your friends? If so, what would you tell them?
"ALL THE TIME! I had actually done a session with someone else and told my friend Susan about it, and how much I thought she would love it - then she shot with Katie which is how I started following her! I think boudoir sessions are incredibly liberating and empowering (with the right people). It allows you to see yourself differently, which helped me personally. I love feeling like a beautiful badass - you can always do a session as a gift to someone else, but I think doing it for yourself has a different feeling, unapologetically embracing your beauty and your body for how it is RIGHT NOW. Super powerful!"
